About covidepi.org

I am a stay-at-home mom and the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) coronavirus pandemic has kicked my background into high gear. I guess you could say I felt somewhat helpless and wanted to figure out my role in this pandemic. Volunteerism is a significant part of my life and for that of my family; we are doing what we can to help others at this time, and covidepi.org is part of my contribution.

I started this blog mostly for my friends and family to help distill the myriad information about this pandemic into a (hopefully) easy-to-digest format. There is so much information out there—including misinformation—and it’s hard enough even for experts to make sense of it all!

I don’t purport to know everything; I try my best at doing my own research and learning. As for epidemiology and biostatistics, I have a PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology and an MPH in Epidemiology; educated at Stanford and Columbia.

I can be reached at covidepi.org@gmail.com
